P.W.G Minutes of the Meeting on 7 September 2017

With the summer break over we returned full of enthusiasm and anticipation for the months that lie ahead. Our chairman John Goodwin is away for a couple of weeks so we had the pleasure of Jennie Rook chairing the meeting which was very lively and interesting.

John informed us that he will be leaving the group in November and returning to the U.K permanently. We wish him well.

Jennie began the meeting by asking members to tell a story of an event that had happened to them during the break. Jennie mentioned that Nicos is now confined to a wheelchair and has requested that a future meeting be held at his home.

Homework:

Jennie asked us to take a list of 13 words, at random, name each item beginning with the given letter.

A separate word was chosen out of a hat which was the theme. We were requested to write a poem/story of 300/400 words linking them together, in the order they were listed.
