Another part of June’s Breton Tales tells the story of the Bellac family living on a farm that they don’t really want. They have two daughters, the eldest has a disasterous marriage and tries to commit suicide, the younger one gets married and they build their own house stage by stage. Good Stuff June, get the book together.

A Divorced couple have a son, who becomes a drug addict. He is living with his grandparents and dealing from their house. The couple go to the house and dispose of the drugs. The son begs for the return of his drugs and he will clean himself up. But he doesn’t. There can be no reconciliation now.

Jordi’s investigation into a long lost roman road in Cyprus, discovers a roman town where ancient stone buildings were ground up to make gravel, by builders. Interesting stuff as always, full of facts.

The story of a beggar in the street, he is a mess and abandoned by his family. A sad story told in rhyme.

H, Rita’s husband gets offered big money to post bills advertising boxing matches fifty pounds for three nights work, big money in the fifties. This opens his eyes to better things.

A very well attended meeting, unfortunately I can’t remember what the prompt was for next week.
