Richard – Off my trolley

Told in rhyme, a journey through a supermarket with a wayward trolley, which after greasing the wheels with some butter because he couldn’t find any WD40, becomes a force to be reckoned with. Very clever use of words.

Irene – Irenes alter-ego Bridget has a series of incidents involving misplaced keys and misunderstood instructions at home when she was abroad. .

Also an article about Scottish dialectsm which is published in the March issue of Paphos

Bobby – Returned after illness with his ‘Magpie’ book ready to publish and also a new book telling the story of a young girl with spina bifida and how she copes.


Mike – An elephant in the room.

People with mental health issues attend a day centre with the things that happened(or not) to them over the last week.


Susie – A copy of a copy

Mischievious trolleys caus havoc in the supermarket, who is in control? Another very clever use of words.


Patti – Sally the supermarket trolley.

The life of a trolley, from brand new to being used by a down and out woman,and eventually dumped in a canal. She is pulled out and used by a youth club and after treatment with WD40 is used as transport for their equipment.


John E. - Stella the trolley

An old trolley whose coin slot is broken, only gets used by people with no change, with jammed and squeaky wheels. It does not feel happy at all. Maybe some WD40 would have helped.


Jennifer – Rhyme about a trolley in the Co-Op who dreams of being in Waitrose and all the up market life that it would hold.

And A story of Jack who after a night on the beer, meets a new female resident to the block of flats.\ in the lift, Next day, hungover he goes to the supermarket, and meets the lady again, She is having trouble with a rogue trolley with stiff wheels. With the aid of some WD40 which he has just bought he rescues her. Great things to follow…


Bob – The darkening sun Ch.11

Achilles joins his family in their tavern in Kathikas and we are introduced to his parents, siblings and old flame Gina.


Suzanne – Gluteus Maximus

A brief explanation of Israei social behavior and the way it is changing in modern times Charlie is in a crowd of pupils when somebody gropes her bottom. She manages to rise above it and realizes that it is all part of growing up (for the boys anyway).


Karen – Trolley

In rhyme, a traumatic trip to the supermarket with husband and baby angry shoppers losing patience all make her resolve to shop on line in future.


Jackie – London lawyers office

Twin brothers from Devon, inherit millions from a distant relative one visits the London office, completely misinterprets the legal jargon, on return he explains all to his brother with hilarious double meanings. Very clever wordplay.
